An office move that doesn't cost you a day's work
An office move isn't about shifting furniture, it's about not losing a day's work. Every hour your desks are in transit is an hour your people can't work. That's why we do commercial moves outside your working day. We've moved law firms out of Spinningfields, tech startups out of MediaCityUK and insurance offices across Stockport, and in every case the move was timed so staff walked in on Monday morning to a workspace that was ready.
Every office move starts with a walkthrough. We check access at both ends: loading bays, goods lifts, parking, corridors. We count the desks, chairs, screens, cabinets and the awkward stuff like safes and printers. Then you get a clear quote and a timeline, agreed before we start.
IT equipment, moved with anti-static care
Computer hardware is the most valuable thing in most office moves. A single server rack can be worth more than all the desks put together. We use dedicated IT crates with anti-static foam lining for monitors, desktops and servers. Screens travel face up, padded and separated. Cables are labelled, coiled and bagged by workstation, so your IT team can reconnect everything in minutes, not hours. For server rooms, we recommend your IT staff handle shutdown and reconnection while we focus on the physical transport.
Office furniture disassembly and reassembly
Modern office furniture, benching systems, sit-stand desks and modular screens often need to come apart before they'll move safely. Our drivers can break down and rebuild standard office desks, conference tables, pedestal units and screen dividers. We carry the tools, and for standard office furniture the disassembly and reassembly is included in the quoted price. For fitted joinery or custom installations, we'll talk it through at the site visit.
